Most eyewear plastics are rigid — they hold their shape under normal wear but crack or snap under sudden stress, like a frame being sat on or stepped on. TR90 is formulated specifically for the opposite behavior: it's engineered to flex substantially — temple arms can bend to roughly 180 degrees in some designs — and spring back to its molded shape once the pressure is released.
